The $6.2 million wedding that cost less than $100,000
BATTLE CREEK, Ohio — A man is in the hospital in critical condition after he and his wife were attacked by two dogs at a pricey wedding in Battle Creek, Ohio, police said.
Police say the couple, both from Indiana, and their dog were attacked Sunday afternoon while walking their two dogs on the city’s West Side.
The incident happened on the 1400 block of North Broadway at about 4:30 p.m.
Police said the couple and their dogs were walking to a home on Broadway when a black and white pit bull started chasing them.
When the dog ran out of the house, the couple ran back inside and called 911, police Chief Robert Dyer said.
A dog control officer responded and found the couple bleeding and on the ground, Dyer added.
They were treated at the scene and released, he said.
The dog control officers also found a dog-control tag in the vehicle, Dury said.
The couple and the dog were treated for their injuries and taken to an area hospital, where the couple is in critical but stable condition.
Dyer said the dogs have since been released and no arrests have been made.
